Copenhagen cruise port guide: Oceankaj, Langelinie and Nordre Toldbod
Copenhagen is one of the busiest cruise ports in Northern Europe. Ships dock at three places, and knowing which one is yours makes your day much easier.
The three places ships dock
- Oceankaj (terminals 1–3) in Nordhavn, north of the city centre. Most large cruise ships use these terminals.
- Langelinie, close to the Little Mermaid. Often used by ships on a day visit.
- Nordre Toldbod, right by the city centre. Smaller ships.
Your cruise line tells you the pier in your documents. If you are not sure, give us your ship’s name: we check where it docks and follow any terminal change on the day.
Getting off the ship takes time
On the last day of a cruise, guests leave the ship in groups, and luggage is unloaded before you can collect it. That is why we give 60 minutes of free waiting at Oceankaj. For guests coming off a ship at Langelinie or Nordre Toldbod, we wait 30 minutes free.
Pickup from the ship
Your chauffeur meets you at the terminal exit with your name on a tablet, helps with the luggage and drives you straight to your hotel, the airport or the station. Fixed prices per car, for example:
- Cruise port → Copenhagen city centre: 999 DKK (Business)
- Cruise port ↔ CPH Airport: 1,200 DKK (Business)
A van (EQV) takes up to 6 guests and 6 suitcases, which is often easier than two taxis.
Going to the ship
Your cruise line gives you a check-in time. We plan the ride so you arrive in good time, with no stress about luggage or traffic.
