Corporate December & Holiday Transport in Copenhagen

December is the busiest month of the year for transport in Copenhagen. Julefrokost evenings, client dinners, year-end meetings and holiday flights all fall in the same few weeks – and so do dark afternoons, rain, sleet and the occasional snow. Taxis are hard to find late at night, and app rides get expensive and unpredictable exactly when your guests need them.

Why December is different

• Everyone celebrates at the same time. Most julefrokoster are on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings in late November and December. Demand for cars peaks when the parties end, usually between 23:00 and 02:00.
• The airport is full. Business travellers fly home for Christmas while visitors arrive for the markets and Tivoli's Christmas season. Arrivals in Terminal 3 can be crowded.
• The weather slows everything down. Dark, wet roads mean more traffic and longer journeys. A chauffeur who plans the route and tracks your flight makes a real difference.
