CPH Airport to Copenhagen city: metro, train, taxi or private chauffeur?

Copenhagen Airport is close to the city, and there are four good ways to get in. Here is an honest comparison, so you can choose what fits your trip.
Metro
The M2 metro line runs from Terminal 3 to the city centre in about 15 minutes, around the clock. It is the cheapest option and great if you travel light and your hotel is near a station.
Train
Regional trains go from the airport to Copenhagen Central Station in about 15 minutes. Good for hotels near the central station and for travelling on to other Danish cities.
Taxi
Taxis wait outside Terminal 3. The price is on the meter, so it depends on traffic and the time of day. Practical when you have luggage, but you queue and you don’t know the final price in advance.
Private chauffeur
A chauffeur meets you inside the Arrivals hall with your name, carries your luggage and drives you to the door. With Fornemo the price is fixed and per car: 999 DKK to the city centre in Business, for up to 3 guests. We track your flight and wait 60 minutes for free after landing.
When is a chauffeur worth it?
- You travel with family, children or a lot of luggage.
- You land late at night or after a long flight.
- You travel for business and want a fixed price and a receipt.
If you travel alone with a backpack, take the metro. For everything else, see our fixed prices or book your pickup.
